Krishna Cottage Movie Review
Krishan Cottage movie was released in 2004 and is an Indian Horror Movie. It got flopped on box office after it’s release while this movie was loved by audience when it started to play on Television in all homes in India.
This movie does not give a chance to get bored. The twists and turns of the story keep the excitement going. And the horror scenes and some famous and loved romantic songs keep audience engaged to their seat.
This movie has many famous hit songs out which one is “Bepanah Pyar hai Aaja“
What is the story of Krishna Cottage?
The movie starts at a function where professor Siddharth Das (Rajendranath Zutshi) donates a copy of the book to JC College.
Meanwhile Manav (Sohail Khan) returnes from America after four years, and joins hus friends Shanti (Anita Hassanandani), Kabir (Alihassan Turabi), Akshay (Hiten Tejwani), Kabir’s girlfriend Nupur (Divya Palat) and Talli (Vrajesh Hirjee). Manav gets engaged to Shanti, who is a girl with a somewhat possessive streak.
The lives of these friends are changed when Disha (Isha Koppikar), a young and beautiful student, joins the college. She gets friends with all of them and start spending time together with everyone specially Manav.
Soon weird and strange incidents starts happening in College which completely baffles everyone.
Disha is welcome to Manav and Shanti’s engagement, where supernatural situation unfolds and a ceiling Jhoomar falls on Disha before Manav saves her in time.
Later on while dropping Disha back home theri car get smashed into a ice wall resulting in damaged tyre. Due to this everyone spends night in nearby Bangalow named Krishna Cottage. Again many supernatural things start happening in Krishna Cottage which makes everyone terrified and curious about this incidents.
As story progresses Talli gets a book named “Kahi un kahi baatein” using which he can impress Disha.
But soon he realises that the book is possesed and whoever reads the book gets killed eventually.
What is written in the book? And why are this supernatural things happening to them? Will they be able to solve this mystery?
How is the screenplay and acting of the actors?
Direction of Santram Varma is kept tight. However, after the intermission the film becomes fast pace story and starts unveiling all the mysteries and keeps the audience hooked to their seats.
The way this movie has been taken forward through the screenplay, it covers up this shortcoming.
All the cast played their role absolutely to their best and performed excellently. Specially Isha Koppikar was the top performer with so accurate face expressions giving chills to audience.
