MGS University Practical Exam Date 2026: Even (2nd, 4th & 6th) Semester | SkyNotes
Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU), Bikaner, has announced the main written exam schedule for UG (undergraduate courses). However, thousands of students enrolled in BA, BSc, BSc Home Science, BCom, BA Hons (History & Geography), BCA, BBA, and BFA (2nd, 4th, and 6th Semesters) are still looking for official updates regarding their Practical Exam Dates, Batch Timings, and File Submission Process.
If you are worried about these issues regarding the practical exam, then in today’s blog, we will guide you through everything and explain the details.

Why Are MGSU Practical Exams Delayed This Year?
Even during the December 2025 exams, the practical exams were conducted only after the theory exams.
- Theory Exams First: MGSU is prioritising written theory examinations across all affiliated colleges in Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, and Sri Ganganagar.
- College-Level Management: Unlike written exams, practical exams are managed directly by individual colleges. Your college itself decides how many students will be in each batch and on which date their practical exam will be held.
- Expected Schedule: Practical examinations for 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester students are expected to commence in Mid-August 2026, right after the main written exams end.
Do You Need a Separate Admit Card for Practical Exams?
A common question among students is whether a separate hall ticket is issued for practical exams.
- Separate Admit Cards Provided: Yes, MGSU issues separate admit cards (hall tickets) for written theory examinations and practical exams.
- College Printing Fee: Please note that some affiliated colleges may charge a small nominal fee (around ₹10 to ₹20 ) to print and hand over your physical practical admit cards (hall ticket) on campus.
