Send Large Files Via Gmail in Android Phones

Gmail have been part of our life for past many years. There was a time back when we didn’t had any Apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, etc. To share our media files such as Photos, Videos, etc.

Back in the days every messages where sent through mails. Whether it was Gmail, Yahoo, etc.

Now we have so many so many Apps which helps us send text as well as audio and video messages to our friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.

Today, we can send Audio, Video, Photo, even documents from our phone to anybody within seconds. But as days have passed out, Smartphones and its Cameras have gotten better. Due to which quality of Photo and video have been improved a lot, and so have the file size of Photos, Videos have also gotten bigger and bigger.

So one can send maximum 40 to 50mb size of Photo aur video to any person from WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram.

What if someone wants to send any large video files around 1-2 gb to someone, How can he send those files from his smartphone?

So in this article i will show how you can send large files via Gmail in android phones

How To Send Large Files Via Gmail in Android Phones

First you have to open Google drive from your Android phone.

Then you have to click on the plus option at the right side at the bottom of the Google drive.

Then you have to click on upload option

Then you have to click on 3 horizontal lines on left side at top of the page

And then select file from either from your phone’s internal storage or from your SD card storage.

After uploading the file on Google Drive, you have to open your Gmail app from your phone.

Then click on compose mail and fill the email address of the person whom you want to send the video file.

Then click on attachment option

Then click on insert from drive option

And then select the file you have uploaded on google drive and send it to that person.

This way you can easily send large file size via Gmail in Android Phones.
